Automatic e-mailings to to contacts from my outlook

Every two weeks or so e-mails are automatically sent out
to my contacts by that are advertisements of vulgarity or
other matters. Usually the same persons.

I have all of the MS updates and all of the Norton
updates and have upgraded my Outlook to 2003.
Is there any way I can ride myself of this problem?
I have kept some copies of the e-mails to get a clue as
to what and how this happens but have no solution. What
to do?
Virus-Worm????

It sounds like you have a worm on your PC despite what NAV says.
Alternatively, it could be that someone else has the worm, with the worm
having hijacked your address. Do you know for a fact the messages are
coming from your computer?

First, THANK YOU for responding to the problem.
If I understand your question, yes I have confirmed that
the messages are originating from my computer. I have a
copy of the e-mail that was sent out in my Sent Box. I
find out that e-mail was sent from the people (2) that
get the e-mails.

For now the only solution I have come up with is to use
the Rules to delay messages that go our to the two
receivers that I know about for 2 hours. Two hours seems
to be the max time I have with Rules. Obviously at night
if I have not checked my out box the message will go out.

Are there any programs that will purge my computer of
worms?
Thanks
Gregory W.
