Hi there -
I have a user who regularly sends "notes" to a public
folder and cc's me.
I'm not sure what happened, but recently, when she types
in the start of the e-mail/note address, she gets two
names. They both then get hung up in the MTA and get
bounced back to her.
I was trying to delete the wrong one by highlighting it
and it still didn't work.
I retyped the correct SMTP address that I was able to find
and when I use that, it works. But it still doesn't seem
to resolve itself.
Does it make a difference if she is using Word as an
editor?? I know that we have removed that option for a
lot of folks as it seems to "glitch" more than either
plain text or HTML or rich text outside of the Word
environment.
However, I cannot, for the life of me get the wrong ones
to delete. What I want to know is, where do these
addresses go? I can't find them in contacts or on our
distributions lists. Is it another one of
those "temporary" folders that Microsoft likes to use?
If anyone has any ideas, I'm all for them. Thanks!!
Cordially,
