Automatic Formatting of Gantt Bars

I'm working with Project 2002 standard. I have a master plan with
multiple projects inserted to represent the program I am managing. I
would like MS Project to automatically change the color of the summary
bars to match a Status field (Example - Green indicating on schedule,
Red behind). I'm sure this is possible, but how difficult is it?
