Automatic headers

Hello everyone,
I would like to get some advice on headers/footers.
I use my own heading styles and on the even headers
I would like to display the text of my heading 1. On the
odd headers, I would like to display the text of the
heading level 2. I can use cross reference to do so, but
I would like Word to do this automatically. That means,
if my heading level one is "Text 1", my even headers
should display "Text 1" until I start a new section with
heading level 1. The same goes for the odd header and
the heading level 2. Whenever my heading changes, I would
like the header also to change.
How can this be done without doing it manually?

Thank you in advance.

1. Go to File > Page Setup. On the Layout tab check the 'Different odd and
even' checkbox.

2. Use StyleRef fields in the headers. { STYLEREF "Heading 1" } and {
STYLEREF "Heading 2" } respectively.
