Automatic Hyperlink Text

Hi,

I have a table that's currently 604 records and will be a lot more shortly.
It is a document center with links to the document. Of course, each document
has it's own hyperlink, but every record only says one thing: "Click Here".
I have dragged the links over (604 times) but I hate the idea of having to
change each hyperlink's text to "Click Here".

I was hoping I could do something in the table itself, but it doesn't look
like I can. Any ideas of how I could force this to happen. It's going to be
an issue when users start putting their document links in here and can't
figure out how change the text.

Help!

Hello Lambi000,

I don't see a question in there.......i.e. what specifically are you trying
to do?

If you are working directly in the table (instead of via a form), that could
be both your problem (and a solution).

More info, please...

I have a database with almost 2000 records in 9 separate forms, and I
have hyperlinked documents relating to about 1400 of those records to a
company server.
AFAIK, you can't do hyperlinks from a table, but I stand to be corrected.

Thanks guys!

I'm just looking for an easy way to put in the text for the links. I
already have the links in a datasheet form, but I don't feel like going to
the hyperlink menu item and typing in the same text over and over. Every one
of the links is to a different address and I don't want the users to see that
address to our server. All I want them to see is "Click Here".

Thanks in advance for your advice!
