to set the last fill in field to automatically jump to the
body text field, but can't remember how to do it. Can
anyone help??

Hmmm. Well, in Word a Fillin field is a very specific thing.
I get the feeling you don't mean this, but something else. Or
do you? What's a "body text field"?

Hi Cindy

I have put in fill-in fields so when the template opens it
promps the user to add information. I have put in a form
field which I have called body text so they click on it to
enter text. At the moment when you finish entering the
fill-in fields the curser goes to the top of the document
and I would like it to go straight to the form field 'body
text. Is this possible?

Many thanks

Have you protected the document as a form (Tools/Protect
document)? You need to do this in order to work with form
fields. And then the cursor should automatically jump to the
first form field in the document.

But there's a question whether the fill-in fields will work
for you in this mode? If not, then you'd need to use macros.
And, in this case, I'd suggest a UserForm that pops up when
the document opens. One custom-made dialog box instead of
numerous of fill-in popups? You'll find instructions on how
to create such a UserForm on the mvps.org/word website.
