Automatic links shows up as a #Value# error in EXCEL XP but not in EXCEL 2000

When I obtain an EXCEL 2000 (created in EXCEL 2000)
spreadsheet in an EXCEL XP environment, I receive #Value#
error after I get passed the "Update Automatic Link"
window. But when I obtain this same spreadsheet using
EXCEL 2000, I don't receive any errors. Is there any
settings in EXCEL XP or can I send it in a way in EXCEL
2000, so that the #Value# error doesn't appear in EXCEL
XP. Can anybody help or if you need any more
clarifications, you can send me an email at (e-mail address removed).
I can also be reached at 303-737-3927.

Thanks,

This is due to automatic calculation. Set recalculation to manual (tools /
options) before opening the workbook and you should be ok.

Opening an XL2000 workbook in XL2002 forces an automatic recalculation.
That the reason why you don't see this behaviour when opening your workbook
in XL2000.

Hope this makes sense.
