automatic names check and proposal

i work with outlook 2002
when i used to write an e mail address in order to send a
message after typing the 3rd letter outlook was checking
and proposing 1 or a list of email addresses that could be
possible recipients.suddenly and without being able to
understand why it proposes me only e mail addresses
written in the same day and only a little while ago.
i checked all the possible reasons and settings as check
names e.t.c but no result.i anyway can't find the setting

any idea?

Outlook uses an autocompletion cache which is comprised of the email
addresses to which you've sent messages. It does not use your Contacts data.
