Automatic Numbered List Creation for Labels?

I have an Avery 05366 i'd like to use for labelling. The boxes are 2 x 15.
I'd like to put the same number in each box (cutting it in half), so
essentially i'd have 4 x 15 sets of numbers. These would be in sequential
order. Ideally I'd just have to change the very first number, and the rest
would automatically change through scripting/equations (e.g. #+1). Can
anybody point me in the direction where I can do this? If it's even possible
within Word.

Alternatively, is there any way to convert a word document (and all sizing)
to Excel? I could easily create such a template within an Excel environment
:D.

An example of what I'd like printed out would be:
1 1 2 2
3 3 4 4
5 5 6 6
etc...

Actually, I want my numbered to be preceded by "ID #: "

So as the Avery 05366 cells are a bit tall, it'd look like:
ID # ID # ID # ID #
001 001 002 002
ID # ID # ID # ID #
003 003 003 003

This can easily be done using mailmerge and a datasource that you create in
Excel.
