Automatic Numbering in Table cells

Is there a way to have cells within a table automatically
number?

Apply numbering (or preferably a numbered style, such as List Number) to the
paragraphs in the cells.

I want to number the cells in a table row from 1 to 30
automatically. Using a list number style will number
paragraphs within one cell. Can the cells within the
whole table be automated?
