Automatic Numbering on the same line

We use various types of outline numbering at our office.
One common request is to use styles for numbering but to
include two numbered items on the same line within a
style -- for example 1.(a). Is there way to do this
within the style itself? Or do you have to use numbering
fields?

Hi Raymond

You can't do this with styles. You can do it with LISTNUM fields.
