Automatic Numbering

I have a form that I have created. Everytime I open the form I would it to
automatically start with the next number. For example, when I first open it
reads customer 1, and I put in there information. When I save this template
and open it again, I would for it to read customer 2, 3, and so on. Would I
need to create a macro to do this? Thank you!
