Automatic paragraph

Hi,
i'm writing a document composed by some paragraphs.Sometimes i tell the
reader to see other paragraphs in order to read more details (e.g. "see
paragraph 3.1.2 to learn more about....."):now i would like that paragraph
number to change automatically if the numeration changes.How can i do that?
