Automatic Print Preview on WORD XP

A machine I use is set to automatically show a
print preview screen when calling for a print
of the document.
I cannot find a way to stop this print preview
appearing.

Is there an answer?

Cheers, Jon

Right click any toolbar and choose Customize from the bottom of the list.
On the Toolbars tab select the Standard toolbar by clicking on the word
standard not the check box.
With the Standard toolbar visible and selected click on the Reset button.
Look further down the list of Toolbars and find Menu Bar and repeat the same
steps resetting both.

This should clear up your 'problem' as it would seem your Print commands
were replaced or rerouted to Print Preview.

Good luck.

Unfortunately, the reset of the 'standard' & 'menu bar'
toolbars did not cure the problem.

To explain a bit more - the print icon acts as if an
automatic 'print preview' is provided before the normal
printer dialog is called ie. the document can be printed
OK, but we have to go through the 'print preview' first.

Ctl-P also acts strange - it starts with the print dialog,
but also shows a 'print preview' before doing the print.
