Automatic Processing of Meetings Does not Always Work

We're running Outlook 2002 on Exchange 2000. Everyone
has "automatically process meeting requests" set up.
However, sometimes the meetings are accepted, and
sometimes not. Sometime there is a long delay in
accepting. It is not set to decline conflicts. Has
anyone come across the problem of random acceptance? Any
suggestions?

If you don't send to the user as a 'Resource', then Outlook will have to
process the meeting at idle time. Depending on your usage and number of
unread items in your inbox, this could take a long time.
