When using MS Word 2002 to edit and existing document, the
file automatically converts to Read-Only after a matter of
time.
The file attributes are not read only. I use this on a
stand-alone computer.
The result is I have to complete a Save As, exit Word,
delete the old document and rename the new one back to its
original, and re-start Word.
I assume there is some sort of advanced security which
makes the file read-only after a period of time where no
saving has occurred ?
Is there any way of turning this setting off.
Thanks
