I am using Access 2003 to connect to Pervasive databases with ODBC. I create
a query to join serveral Pervasive tables, create a simple calculated field
of unit price * quantity and filter the data.
I then use Excell to run pivot tables connecting to the access query as a
DNS. This works great.
I use Access to join the various tables, because it a lot easier and more
robust then MS Query in Excel (On MS Query, I'm not sure what syntax to use
for Pervasive/Btrieve and I get a lot of syntax errors).
My question, how do I automatically requery or refresh the query to get the
most current information from the Pervasive database, with out actually going
into Access?
