Hi
Is there a way of writing a macro that can search through a set of values in excel and based on a particular value in a particular row set when running the macro, regress the next 90 values in two adjacent columns?
For example. search column A. If row 32 in column A = 'StockSplit', regress the value in Column B Row 32 against Column C in row 32, including the next 89 rows in column B and C in the regression.
I would then like to output the R squared, intercept, and some other values to a table.
I would be interested to hear if anybody has done something similar, or if this is even possible in excel.
Thanks
