Automatic release pessimistic lock

I like to use pessimistic more than optimistic locking.
The problem is well known, If user edit a record (thru
form, not by programming) for a long time, It prevent
other users from that locking record.

So, Are there any property or option to set the locking
timeout. What I expect is Form will automatically undo
the editting record.
