automatic removal of a column as date is updated??

Hi there,
Does anybody have any idea of how to automatically remove a column whe
the date is updated?
I have a spreadsheet with dates in a row which updates daily t
highlight the current day, I then require yesterdays date and colum
below to be automatically removed from the spreadsheet.
I have searched lots of sites but can find no information, beware I a
new to this so please speak slowly!
