Ivor Davies
I have two sharepoint servers.
One Sharepoint server (EPM003) is connected to our MS Project Server 2003
(EPM001).
The other Sharepoint server (NAV002) is not connected in any way to the MS
Project Server 2003 (it is a standalone SharePoint server).
On the SharePoint server (NAV002) I have a large number of documents, lists,
contacts, links, etc. I would like the user to be automatically re-directed
to this site instead of going to the EPM provisioned site that was created
when the project was saved and published on our MS Project Server 2003
(EPM001).
I know that I COULD copy everything over (documents, lists, contacts, links,
etc) to the new site -but that is not desireable. What I would like to do is
to automatically re-direct any users from the EPM provisioned site (this site
has NO DOCUMENTS / LINKS / ETC) to the site we already have created.
I have tried in FrontPage 2003 to do an automatic re-direct, but the users
are being asked to login / authenticate to this site (even though the SAME
USER access is granted on both sites).
Is there anything that I am doing wrong - I performed the following:
Redirect a Web page
In Page view, at the bottom of the document window, click Design .
Right-click the page, and then click Page Properties on the shortcut menu.
Click the Custom tab.
Under System variables (HTTP-EQUIV), click Add.
In the Name box, type REFRESH.
In the Value box, type the following:
x; URL=http://xyz.com
Where x equals the number of seconds before the redirection takes place, and
xyz.com equals the page to which you want to redirect the current page.
Click OK.
Help....
