Automatic subfolder expansion in Outlook Express

In Outlook Express, I have the following subfolder path:
Local Folders > Business > (8 subfolders)
One of those 8 subfolders always expands (like I hit the
+ sign) automatically, for no apparent reason.
Unfortunately, this particular folder is one that I don't
often use.

Questions:

1) Why does OE decide to expand some folders and others
not?

2) Is there anyway I can tell OE subfolders to
automatically expand and which to leave alone?

Many thanks for any ideas out there. Couldn't find a
thing in the FAQ's along these lines.
