automatic sum function will not add

copied sprdsht from access posted in excel via, paste special, values.
tried to auto sum a column and it gave me zero. typed formula & still gave me zero. column is formulated for currency and it gives me $0.00 weather manual or auto. i do this all the time but now its wierd. thanks.

Is your "data" really text? If it is text, then adding up text gives you 0,
I think.

Double check your data. Let's say A1 is part of your data. In cell B1, try
=A1*5. What happens?
