Automatic transport of AD User as Ressources

T

Thomas Heinemann

Hello

Is there a way to create an automatic update from the AD User List to
the Project Server to add the Users automaticaly as Ressources? Because
of the hight fluctuation on Users it is not possible to make every
change manually.

Thomas,
Yes, you can :
1° - In AD, create a group to which you'll assign all the users you want as
resources.
2° In PWA (on the Project Server if you want to do the update manually) :
Admin / Server Configuration
Enter the name of the AD Group in the appropriate text box
Click "Update"

NB : You can set an automatic update with a specific periodicity.

@ Mike
I am sorry. I'll post in the right group next time :)

@ Gerard

Thank for your help.
I found the Option but how do I had to fill in the AD Group?

We stored all Users in the ADGroup: ProjectUsers
the full structure is:
firm.local\Users\Projectusers

If I put in Projectusers or Users\Projectusers or
firm.local\Users\Projectusers the users are not shown in the enterprise
ressources :(

Thanks for any Advises
