automatic update to a field (Date/Time)

Hi:

Is there a way to have add an automatic update to a field (Date/Time) in a
table when any edit or change is made to the existing fields in the table.
When someone goes into an existing table to make a change to any field, the
field Date/Time will be updated with the Date andTime. The only field that
does not have data in it is the new Date/Time field.

HI!! Have u tried setting the defult value of the field to =date()

Use the form's BeforeUpdate event to run a SetValue macro that puts the
current date and time (using the Now() function) into the date/time field.
