Automatic Updates clearing some settings in Outlook 2003

Whenever Automatic Updates are done on computers, there are several users who
find that several settings in Outlook 2003 are cleared. These include the
signature, stored autocomplete email addresses, and the configuration that
makes the Contacts folder visible in the GAL. Anyone seen this problem and
found a fix?
