automatically 2100 characters per page?

in word 2007, i need 2100 characters (with spaces) per page, but some are
2100, and others are 2500 characters. Can Word 07 automatically adjust pages
so they have ca. 2100 characters on them?

Word has not built-in facility for this. Your could, however, prepare your document then use a macro to insert a page-break after
every 2500th character. Note, though, that even this won't be reliable since the way you format the text on the page could mean the
natural page-break will occur earlier.

It's not that important that i want to fiddle with macros and stuff. I just
adjust the left margin and the font size. (and write a suggestion to
microsoft!)

Well, since I am VBA-less, the referenced article doesn't offer any macros,
just suggestions for controlling page length.
