Automatically Accepting Updates

If a PM automatically accepts a task update and that particular update
changes the next task's start date, will the Team Member/resource for that
next task receive (Outlook Interface) an e-mail notification prior to the
project getting republished?

It has been noted that delegated tasks do send the Team Member/Resource an
e-mail containing a note pertaining to pending acceptance by the PM.

When the PM publishes the project, the system automatically sends e-mails to
resources whose task schedule changes as a result. Hope this helps.

Yes you are correct but my question was one level deeper. If the PM creates
a rule to automatically accept task updates to a specific project; can a
resource's update that actually impacts the next task's start date, trigger
notification to the next resource prior to the project getting published
again?

No. E-mail messages are triggered as part of the publishing event. Hope
this helps.
