Is there a way to automatically have pictures/images compressed so that file
sizes containing screen dumps will be saved with a realistic file size?
We have numerous users who take screen captures and then simly paste the
image in their document. What I'd like to have done is to implement a group
policy or a setting in Microsoft Office (not just word really) that would
automaticallly compress all pictures in the document to the following
settings:
x Apply To: All Pictures in the Document
x Change Resolution: Web/Screen Resolution
x Options: Compress Pictures
x Options: Delete cropped areas of pictures
I know how to do it individually for a given document and also how to
instruct a person how to do it, but I would like to know if there's a way I
can impose this setting within the MS Office installation or even better -
push out a group policy to update the current installations.
Any and all help is greatly appreciated!
Cheers and thanks in advance.
