automatically copy an appointment from one calender to another

i run a pst file primarly because i'm not allowed to have
more than 40MB of data on the exchange server. the
problem is that when i create an appointment, it doesn't
add it to the calender within exchange. i thought about
running my calender from the exhange folder using ost
file and email in the pst file but then it doesn't sync
properly with my PDA.

with outlook 2003 i can see my pst calender and exchange
calender side by side, so i can copy and paste
appointments from one to another so others can see my
appointments.

question is is there some way to dynamically link items
in one calender to another?
