Automatically creating text when someone clicks on text box?

Hi,

I am a physician and wanted to use MS Word to make my dictations easier.
Ideally, I wanted to have a full dictation populate by me simply clicking off
text boxes. For example, when examining the eyes, if I click off a "Normal
Exam" box, text reading "Pupils were equal, round, and reactive to light and
accomodation, and extraocular movements were intact" should appear in the
space below. I know it is a Macro function, but how do I do it?

Hello Shalin,

What version of Word are you using? The answer depends on the version. In
fact, are you using a Mac? If not: You've landed in a discussion group for
users of Mac versions of Word (not your fault -- it's a charming foible of
MS's "discussions" web interface, which I see you used). Mac versions differ
variously from PC versions. Although several people here use both PCs and
Macs and may give you an answer once you get back with the information on
your version of Word, it's likely that more people in a PC group have
