automatically generate e-mails on specific task dates

I would like to be able to automatically generate an e-mail on specific tasks
that are near due. Can Project send an e-mail to the project manager and the
owner of a task on a predetermined date?

You can set up e-mail subscriptions for your team members to notify them
when a task is nearing its completion date. Here's how:

1. Log into PWA with project manager permissions or higher
2. Click the Notify me about my resources on tasks and status reports" link
in the sidepane on the left side of the Home page
3. In the "Send e-mail in the specified frequency for upcoming tasks"
section, select the "Alert resources ___ days before their tasks are due"
option and specify the number of days before the task is due
4. Select the "e-mail me and my resources" option in this section
5. Click the Save Changes button
