Automatically identify be verbs

Hi

I am looking for a plugin or method to automatically identify "be"
verbs as I type (is, was, are, were, be, being, been) as I type, so I
can make corrections as I go. It wopuld be good if it would just
highlight them on the fly - not something such as search and replace.

Thanks!

One way would be to make autocorrect entries. For example, type

are

and highlight it the way you want. Choose Tools/AutoCorrect. Click the
"formatted text" radio button over the With: box, and enter "are" (no
quotes) in the Replace: box.

Repeat for your other forms.

You can do this with autocorrect if you apply formatting to the
corrected text. When I tried it I automatically replaced 'shall' with
the same word in italic highlighted in yellow.

In the past I've done this with VBA to highlight modal verbs which
allows it to only be applied when required. Unfortunately this isn't
available in Word 2008.
