Automatically Reduce Image Sizes

I was wondering if anyone knows of a method of reducing image file sizes for
images that are already embedded in Microsoft PowerPoint 2004 - I have
inherited a large number of files that include images that were placed in
PowerPoint without being resized. It is my understanding that PowerPoint
2003 on Windows can do this - I was wondering if a similar feature exists
using 2004.
