Automatically running a macro when printing

Hi, folks. In WORD XP Microsoft has disabled the function
that had allowed the user to automatically update links
and fields in a document before printing. The option seems
to be available (it is included in the tools/options/print
screen) but it does not work. After an exhaustive session
with Microsoft support, it transpires that this function
has been disabled as a security measure. The workaround is
to create a macro (eg AutoOpen) that updates links and
fields when you open a template. However, I want to update
links and fields as I print. Is there a VBA command that
will automatically run a macro prior to printing?

Write macros called FilePrint and FilePrintDefault -- these will run in
place of the built-in menu and toolbar commands.
