Automatically sending data from one sheet to another.

Ok, I'm new with Excel... Please forgive me for not using the right
terminologies...


Let's say that I'm entering (updating) data into one worksheet and
wanting to have certain block of the worksheet send (update) to
another worksheet. I want to do this as I enter the data rather than
after I complete entering all the data. And the number of entries is
not pre-determined...

I understand you can enter data into several sheets at one time.

I understand that you can copy sheets to create an identical sheet and
then delete the unwated portions.

I understand that you can use simple cell reference. (But not knowing
the size of the block, you would run inot problems with referencing.)

So, is there any other ways to achieve this?
