Automatically update time.

Dear Sir / Madam,

I have a query in Excel which are as follows:-

I work for Logistic department in Dubai and often we visit website to
see time of each country we deal with, but recently i got an idea that
this can be done in excel so that we can use it at any moment.

I want to create 3 columns, first with UAE time, second with Country
time and third column with difference in time. These columns should be
updated automatically, so just want to check with you if this is
possible.

Thanking you in anticipation,

Regards,

Ashu.

One solution:

Use web query
new web query, web address (for example
http://times.clari.net.au/location.php3/Asia/Dubai), take whole page, OK
query preferences, change update time to 1 minute (The least you can put
there)

Now it shows correct time in Dubai once a minute. Make this worksheet hidden
and take to use only the colum you need (time).

=now()

Show's the current time and date, if you add a +3 it'll
add days, I'm not sure what you do to add or subtract
hours, but this might point you in the right direction.

To add 8 hours, for example, use +8/24. You can format the cells to show
date and time or just time.
This will not 'auto-refresh' continuously, but will recalc when the sheet
recalcs (eg after an edit, refresh etc)

Andy.
