Automatically updated page?

In the "Date and Time" dialog box (click "Date and Time" on the Insert menu),
what is the "date this page was last automatically updated?" I.e., when/why
is a page automatically updated vs. a page being edited?

And, if you choose that option, will a page that is edited also count as
being automatically updated? I.e., is "edited" a subset" of "automatically
updated?"

Thanks.

Use the automatically updated option if the date is in a FP Design Time bot (like an include page or shared border)
- it will update all the page dates using the bot when you update the included content
