Automaticly create an appointment based on anothers category?

I use a stand-alone copy of Outlook 2003 to keep a diary of bookings for
several meeting rooms - each room is aasigned a category to distinguish
between them. What I'd like to do is automatically create a cleaning
shedule for the rooms by interrogating the categories and creating a
corresponding appointment for the following day in a separate sub-calendar
(or simply with a separate category).
Is this possible?

TIA

If I understand the problem correctly, no. You can't automate the creation
of appointments, at least not with outlook's native capabilities. If you
know Outlook VBA, you could.

Do you have any pointers to an idiots guide to Outlook VBA?
