Automating addition of a site to Trusted Sites in IE -- web compon

Hi, folks. We’re looking for a bit of “script magic†for our web components.
We appreciate any pointers, and we'll be sure to complete the thread with a
report of our end-results.

We’d like a script to automatically add our SharePoint 2003 Portal to our
end-users’ list of Trusted Sites in IE.

Optionally, we’d like the script to automatically set the security level on
Trusted Sites to medium-low.

This will simplify the end-user’s access to our intranet portal and ensure
that all web components display their data without error.

So ideally we’d like to place a single script on the homepage to accomplish
all this. Can anyone point me to a solution that’s been implemented, or
general techniques that we can apply?
