Automating copying and pasting list items

Hello,

I'm using Word from Office 2000.
I hope the following can be done.

I have a few document pages that I'd like to set up as master
'selection lists'. That is, I'd like to be able to somehow select a
line(s) from the lists and have it automatically inserted into a new
document where the cursor currently is located.

In other words, instead of having to manually select a line of text,
copy it and then paste it into a new document, I'd like to simply
click on a bullet or number and have the line(s) copied into the new
document at the cursor.

I hope I've made myself clear and that this can be done.
Guidance would be appreciated.

Thank you! Eric

Hi, Eric. Try this: Create a couple autotext entries. Record a macro of
yourself inserting one of the autotext entries. Copy it and edit it to give
yourself another macro to insert the 2nd one. Create toolbar buttons to run
those macros.
You can learn how to record a macro and assign it to a toolbar button here:
