Automating picture placement

We are starting to use Publisher 2007 for some of our regular newsletters
and reports.

For many years we have been using Corel Ventura and, within Ventura, it was
possible to set up locations for frames where you would click the frame and
then click on a formatting tag and it would automatically adjust the size of
the frame and the frame location.

Is there a way of doing this in Publisher?

Closest Publisher can come is inserting empty picture frames. You would have to
manually do the rest. You could create templates that would have preferences.

Ventura is a far more powerful program than Publisher, but then Ventura is $600
on the Corel web site. It should be more powerful.
