Automating Resource Calendar Update

Prior to project server, we manually added planned vacation time to resource
calendars in various resource pool files throughout the company. Each group
had someone take care of their resource information. In moving to Project
Server 2007, it seems like we should be able to automate this by
programatically pulling vacation data from our HR system and loading it to a
single place in project server. Does project server 2007 readily support this
through the PSI? Can you provide guidance into where to start and what are
the big issues if any?

Yes the PSI does support calendars. You need to download the PSI SDK
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...f9-7028-4b30-99a2-18cb1eed1abe&displaylang=en
and look in the help file for "ResourceDataSet.CalendarExceptionsRow"

And there is some example code under
"CalendarDataSet.CalendarExceptionsDataTable.AddCalendarExceptionsRow" topic.
