Automating Templates

First: I am a complete novice at what I'm trying to do in Word - I hesitate
to say how simple this process was in WordPerfect, and apparently I've failed
miserably. But ... going forward I am trying to make document generation in
Word simpler for my users.

What I'm trying to accomplish is repetitive information about my users:
specifically, attorney and paralegal full names and their email addresses -
this information is used in the Firm letterhead and in court templates. We
do not use Outlook so the information contained in the firm address book is
not accessible to me in Word, so that's out.

I'd like to have a dialog box that auto-completes when the user starts
typing in an attorney's name, that will fill in the attorney name as well as
insert their attorney's email address information where that information
needs to be inserted - presumably via a bookmark.

I've fiddled with Fill-In and Ask - I'm not seeing the results I'm looking
for specific to the attorney information - Fill-In works just fine for the
other information required.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated - and thank you in advance.

While there are a number of ways of doing what you want (autotext for
example), I would recommend that you go the userform route.
