I'm going to try this again...I don't think we worded our
problem very well last night when Dena posted.
We have an Access 2000 database used for internal safety
audits. We have a form that opens when the database
opens named frmMainMenu, and it closes when any other
form opens.
The form that allows audit data to be entered contains a
subform with questions. The right side of the form lists
the "Subjects" on buttons and when a subject button is
clicked, the subform on the left refreshes with those
questions. This has been working fine since the database
was built!
For some really strange reason now, after some data has
been entered, every so often (no pattern detected) we get
a popup error box that has "frmMainMenu" as the title in
the blue header and the Yellow triangle with an
exclamation point and the words "Automation Error!" and
an "OK" button. When we click OK, it continues to work
correctly and I don't see any errors in data or
anything.
Any ideas on how to fix this?? Seems like there is a
conflict somewhere, but I'm not sure where to look!
Thanks!!
