Hello, I'm a bit new to Automator and AppleScript and would appreciate
any help from Automator/AppleScript gurus out there. ;-)
I'm trying to create an Automator workflow that will let me do the
following:
1) Select text files and import them into Excel (using the "|"
delimiter)
2) Create multiple worksheets (for each imported text file) and rename
each worksheet using the name of the text file
3) Save the Excel workbook to the desktop
4) Quit Excel
I've been able to create an automator action that does all of the
above EXCEPT step 2.
I found an Automator workflow (created by hanaan.com) that allows for
batch renaming of worksheets within a workbook, but there's not an
option to rename worksheets based on the original name of the text
file.
If anybody out there can me out, I'd really appreciate it!
Thank you!
