I know Spotlight support is the most requested feature; personally I
want to give Apple some more time to enhance it.
Automator -- that's another story. WHEN are we going to see Office
Automator actions? The PowerPoint suite is very nice, but we need some
for the other components, especially Entourage.
Many of the cool workflows involve Apple's anemic Mail program. Are
there some developers who can develop Entourage workflows? I'd be
willing to pay for that. Here are a couple I can think of:
Add a file to an Entourage Project;
Using Entourage as the mail engine for other workflows;
Creating messages with attachments directly from the Finder in
Entourage;
Creating vCards from Entourage Address Book for use in other worflows;
Using Word as an editor for Entourage messages automatically
Importing or Exporting Entourage data for use in other applications
Integrating other Automator applications with Entourage (FileMaker,
OmniOutliner, NetNewsWire, etc)
Using iPhoto actions with Entourage
I could go on. I refuse to use Apple's pathetic excuse for a mail
application, Anyone? Automator actions?
