Autonumber

I need to run an update query to bring in a bunch of data from a previous
database. How do I tunr on the "Autonumber" field type after there is data
in the table?

Is there is an autonumber already active in the database you want to update?
Does the data from the previous database have a primary key and is that
primary key an autonumber in which you plan to add to the other database?


If your data from the other database has values that may repeat values
already in the autonumber field
