How do I make a row that auto generates the contents in sequence?

Say A2=101. How can I make the rest of the row become:

A3=102
A4=103
A5=104
A6=105
A7=106 etc.....

Hi Cameron,

If cell A2 has the number 101, try:

Click on cell A2 and drag until you've selected the range you want
Edit > Fill > Series
Click Ok

Another way,

Put 101 in cell A2
Put 102 in cell A3
Select both cells
Position the cursor on the bottom right corner of cell A3 until it turns
to a fill handle
Click and drag down

The second way works best for me. Thanks for the help!

I was selecting the two cells and trying to drag down with the hand. I
didn't know about the fill handle. The Help feature in Excel had nothing
detailing this

You don't say which version you're using , but in XLv.X,there's a good
description of the fill handle under Help's "Fill handle" topic. That
topic is referenced in topics/descriptions you find if you search Help
for "Fill", "Drag", "Drag and Drop", "Series", "Autofill", "Entering
Data", etc...
