Hello there,
I have created a Word 2003 compatible template with a few macros. It is a
Form with a lot of fields. AutoNew is used to initialize some variables and
events and works fine. One of the things I'm doing is to suggest a filename
based on values of some fields.
However, when the file is saved and then re-opened, neither AutoExec nor
AutoOpen starts. I also tried Document_New and Document_open in
"ThisDocument" object under "Microsoft Word Objects". The situation is the
same.
Both *Open run when the Template is opened, but not when the document based
on the template is. I figured that there is some connection to the location
of the Template file (which is placed in some folder on the disk, not the
Word Template folder), but don't really know what happens.
I desperately need AutoOpen, since there are some variables that have to be
initialized and Save event to be caught (to do some recalculations).
Any suggestions?
